Dinner Tuesday - Saturday: 6pm - 8:30pm
Set back from the main street in our own secluded courtyard, full of fairy lights and palm trees, a three-minute walk to the sea.
We are a small family-run restaurant; owners, chefs and husband and wife team Kim and Gary took over on Valentine's Day 2017. We have kept a small, close-knit team for most of our time here.
We like to keep our menu ever-changing to keep up with seasonal changes. We also like only to use local suppliers and ingredients. Our meat comes from Harvey Brothers Butchers, just up the road from us. Our fish and shellfish come from Celtic Fish and Game, which is based in St. Ives, we use Westcountry Fruit and Veg Sales, based in Falmouth, and we use Penwithian for our dry ingredients and local beers and drinks, which is based in Penzance. We also use Polgoon, Penzance’s vineyard, and stock their delicious wines, ciders and juices.
We make everything we can in our tiny kitchen, from ice creams and sorbets, sauces and dips, hand-cutting chips, all of our desserts, all of our mains, starters and appetisers. What’s the point in serving food you’ve bought in!?
We display artwork from local artists, photography by local photographer Adam Gibbard, and paintings by Kim's grandad. We are family and dog friendly, have a children’s menu, and our furry friends always get a treat and lots of cuddles!
